Best thing about the property was the location and friendliness of the staff. Located within minutes walk to the lake and many eateries- but be careful of oncoming motorists. Staff were always smiling and happy to help. Upon check in there was a tray on the bed with a handwritten welcome note and also some information about the city, what to do and watch outs.The hotel can also help with booking trips; initially we did this but then cancelled them as we saw several tour booking agents near the hotel who offer the exact same itineraries for around $20USD cheaper and I found the booking agents to be more knowledgeable about the tour destinations (we booked day trips to Ninh Binh and Halong Bay). We had free breakfast included which was a buffet- it was adequate and you can order eggs in any style or pho made to order which was great.
